how the idea was born?

2019

I had just welcomed my second child and quit my job a week before the birth. After a month at home with no job, I decided to create my brand. It happened spontaneously—while shopping with my mom, she pointed out some beautiful yarn and said, "Let's buy it, and I'll knit a hat for you." After I posted a photo of the hat on Instagram, people started asking where I bought it. I told them my mom knitted it, and several people ordered the same hats. I thought, "If these hats are so popular, we need to show them to more people." That's how it all started.

From Passion to Business

2020

My business began to grow. I expanded from just hats to clothing and family looks. More and more people were becoming interested in handmade items. I even sponsored several events and hired my first marketing manager to help with social media. Then, the coronavirus pandemic hit Ukraine. People were stuck at home, hesitant to spend money, especially on expensive handmade clothes, and summer was approaching. Sales slowed down, but I persevered and continued to grow my business.

THE FIRST 1.5 MILLION VIEWS

2021

As the situation stabilized, I continued to expand. One of my TikTok videos featuring my hats went viral—one got 1.5 million views, and another reached 7 million. Orders started pouring in from all over the world. I was overwhelmed with orders and had to hire three more knitters to help fulfill them. My products were shipped to Germany, Poland, the Netherlands, England, the USA, Australia, and other countries.

NEW BEGINNING

2022

My business was thriving, and my TikTok and Instagram accounts were growing rapidly. Then, on February 24, Russia fully escalated the war in Ukraine, and we had to move to Germany, leaving everything behind—no clothes, no friends, and starting a brand new life. I paused everything and stopped taking orders. For six months in Germany, I only knitted for myself and my new German friends who enjoyed handmade items and asked me to knit for them and their children. After six months, we moved to the USA, starting a completely new life with new people and a new language.

THE FIRST SALES ON ETSY

2023

I decided to revive my business, but I had to determine my new audience. Handmade items are popular in the USA, but living in Florida, I wondered what I should knit. I completely regenerated my business. I switched to English for the American audience, transitioned from knitting to crochet, and focused more on toys and accessories rather than clothing. I also realized how popular crochet was, so I created my first pattern and opened an Etsy shop. It sold so well that I decided to make more. I promoted my Etsy shop with patterns, finished toys, and bags.

35,000 FOLLOWERS ON INSTAGRAM

2024

I decided to see if crochet plants would be popular too. So, I made one, created a video, and uploaded it to my Instagram page, which had 4,000 followers. The video got 3 million views, and I started receiving orders every single day—at least five orders per day, which was crazy. People were also asking for patterns and kits. Within three months, I had 30,000 followers on Instagram, created a new TikTok page, and launched a TikTok shop. I also launched my website and began receiving a flood of orders for plants, patterns, and kits. And here we are :)
